After hearing from so many teachers about the incredible benefits of having Text-to-Speech (TTS) in edit mode, we couldn\u2019t agree more, and we\u2019re excited to bring this powerful tool to students! This is a game-changer!<\/p>\n\n

How can text-to-speech improve student support?<\/h2>\n

Creating an inclusive classroom and addressing the diverse needs of learners is a challenge educators face daily. The Book Creator team is passionate about finding ways to support teachers in overcoming those challenges. Here are a few ways the TTS feature can support your students.<\/p>\n\n

Improve reading fluency with text-to-speech<\/h3>\n

Hearing their words helps students catch mistakes they may have overlooked, prompting them to revise with a fresh perspective.<\/p>\n\n

When students use the speech-to-text<\/a> (STT) microphone functionality to write in Book Creator, it is even more important for them to be able to hear their text back aloud using TTS. For students who struggle with reading or writing, it serves as a powerful self-editing tool, enabling them to check their work and self-correct as needed.<\/p>\n
