It's a virtual \"refrigerator door\" of achievements!<\/p>\n<p>Taking it a step further, several teachers we spoke to recently are using digital portfolios as a basis for student-led conferences.<\/p>\n<\/div><div id=\"\" class=\"x-text main-text\" style=\"\" ><p><hr id=\"perfect-portfolio\" class=\"x-gap\" style=\"margin: -2em 0 0 0;\"><\/p>\n<h2>How to craft the perfect digital portfolio?<\/h2>\n<p>There are different \"flavors\" of portfolio to consider, dependent on what will work best for your situation.<\/p>\n<p><hr id=\"standards-or-competencies\" class=\"x-gap\" style=\"margin: -2em 0 0 0;\"><\/p>\n<h3>Demonstrating standards or competencies?<\/h3>\n<p>Choose your flavor \u2013 standards-based or competency-based. It is a metacognitive process where reflection is the key and which takes place over the duration of a career.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, our very own Community Manager, <strong>David Hotler<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/read.bookcreator.com\/library\/-MNY3G4Y19-klmJX2J4Q\/book\/M45Ef-PZTuOVutm2EcPEaw?nopreview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">created a portfolio in Book Creator<\/a> when applying for his role with us.
