We've refreshed our accreditation programme to help you get the most out of Book Creator.<\/div>

I<\/span>t's been two years since we launched our Book Creator Certified Author<\/a> programme. Since then - we've launched several major updates, including templates, an app store, and remixable books, PLUS some other smaller updates. So the time was right to update our course and bring everything up to date.<\/p>\n

Our Teacher Success Managers Jon Smith<\/strong> and Catherine Cappiello\u00a0<\/strong>have worked hard to produce new content for the course, bringing fresh ideas and insights into every key feature of Book Creator.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s new in the certification?<\/h2>\n

  1. There are now 18 videos to watch (previously 14). It will take around 2 hours maximum to watch all the videos and complete the quiz.<\/li>\n
  2. The quiz has been updated. You still need to answer 16 out of 20 questions correctly to pass and get your Book Creator certification.<\/li>\n
  3. You'll get a new digital badge! We've updated the badge to give it a fresh design.<\/li>\n
  4. What's more - we've now also included a certificate. This was requested by teachers who need to show proof of completion to claim PD credits.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\"Completed

    Do I need to re-certify?<\/h2>\n

    THOUSANDS of teachers have been certified in the last two years. If you previously completed the Book Creator Certified Author training, you don't HAVE to do it again - you'll still be counted as certified. But if you want to refresh your knowledge, learn about the new features, PLUS get hold of a new badge and a certificate, we certainly recommend it.<\/p>\n

    What happened to Level 2 certification?<\/h2>\n

    Some of you will remember that when we originally launched the Certified Author course we referred to it as the Level 1 course with Level 2 to come later. In the end we decided to keep it simple and just have the Level 1 course. So we don't refer to Level 1 and Level 2 anymore, it's just one certification.<\/p>\n

    The kind of content we would have for Level 2 is included in the many webinars<\/a> we regularly put out - so if you're looking for more in-depth training we recommend you sign up for one of these, or look through the archive on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n
